Inspired by overgrown gardens,
the sanctuary of a hidden cottage or a wide open meadow,
the textures and lifelines in old tree bark,
and the way color and light can touch
your very soul.
The name Lilla Bello is simply an Italian translation of “beautiful lilac”. Inspired by the lilac bushes growing outside my kitchen window when I lived in Oregon.
Lilla (Lilac), from what I was told, is masculine which is why Bello (beautiful) has the ‘o’ at the end. Over the years, I have learned (from an actual Italian person) that either Bello or Bella would have been grammatically correct.
