Crimson ‘n Cobblestones at a Stone Manor Malibu Wedding
Nothing says romance like jewel toned florals, and this super romantic wedding in Malibu was filled with plenty of them!
Stone Manor Malibu Wedding
When you live in Southern California, it’s wedding season all year around. Yesterday’s March temperatures couldn’t have been more picturesque. Steve and Leslie tied the knot overlooking the Pacific ocean at the stunning private property, Stone Manor, in Malibu. Orchestrated by Cassandra & Co Weddings, this romantic wedding was flawless.
Our bride went for the timeless all white bouquet, full of roses, orchids, and tuber roses. She added a touch of glam with a fur coat and gorgeous dangling earrings. Our groom also went with a simple white boutonniere with a white ranunculus, a touch of greenery, and a white wrap. Classic and elegant was key here!
However, they made sure all their other flowers were a colorful explosion of crimson reds, fuchsias, hot pinks and plum purples, starting with the bridesmaid bouquet, carrying into the ceremony, and adorning the tables at reception.
The Ceremony
Not to toot our own horn, but we think these gorgeous pedestal pieces flanking the ceremony are pretty amazing. Lush, overflowing florals atop these black antique pedestals made for a serious photo-worthy moment. Long stems of delphinium were offset by the trailing eucalyptus. Anemones bloomed, vines dangled…we could go on and on!
Leslie and Steven said their vows in front of their closest family and friends, each with only one person by their side.
Cocktail Hour
Leslie and Steven opted for a long, lush garland for the front of the bar, sprinkled with jewel toned blooms throughout and intermingled with the fresh fruit that lay on top of the bar.
Little cocktail arrangements sat on top of tables, bringing a cheery pop to a white tablecloth. On a side note– how amazing are these multi-colored ranunculus?!
The Reception
Finally, it was time for reception. These jewel-toned beauties were created in black pedestal vases and surrounded by candles of varying heights. We utilized different florals, from ranunculus to dianthus to roses and a variety of color and texture to make the centerpieces as vibrant and eye-catching as possible. The varying height candles added another level of interest to the table, surrounding the flowers with a warm glow.
